Development of Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry Technique for Cadmium(II) Detection and Its Application in Water Spinach

Cadmium is a toxic pollutant that harmful to the environment and humans. The purpose of this research was develop method for cadmium(II) detection using differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) glassy carbon electrode. developed then applied cadmium in vegetable samples which water spinach. optimized several parameters such as potential window, deposition potential, time, scan rate. also investigated its analytical performance includes linearity, precision, limit, quantitation limit. optimum conditions 0.1 M KCl DPASV technique obtained window from -1200 -100 mV, -1100 mV (vs Ag/AgCl), time 360 s. It good linearity with an R2 0.996. precision expressed %SBR 0.66%. limits were 0.4206 µM~0.0771 ppm 0.5525 µM~0.1013 ppm, respectively. measurement spinach sample concentration 0.2399 mg/Kg.
